COVID 19 Update 29th May 2020
We are very pleased to say that as of Monday June 1st our Showroom and Workshop will be in full force!
Our amazing technicians have been working hard since May 14th to clear the backlog of service and repairs, we have taken the time over the last few weeks to ensure that the processes we have in place to keep our staff and customers safe are working correctly!
Although in and around our showroom looks very different, this is to keep everyone safe. Can we please ask that your follow the signs and directions we have set in place, we will be keeping our eyes on the guidelines set out by the Government and we will adapt as time goes on.

1928 to 2014
Jimmy's father opened the Sidney Jackson & Son business in 1920 selling and maintaining tractors. Jimmy then realised that to move with the times they needed to sell cars. After speaking to his father only one make came to mind and that was Ford, so in the summer of 1955 Sidney Jackson & Son Ltd was re branded as a Ford Retail Dealer.
Timothy is the Managing Director for Sidney Jackson & Son and has worked along side his father since he left school 26 years ago.
Liam joined Sidney Jackson in 2008 as Sales Manager of the new and used department. Liam has been in the motor trade since January 2002. Before joining us he enjoyed great success as Assistant Sales Manager at a Ford retail site.

Simon joined our sales team in January 2012. He has over 9 years motor trade experience within the sales department. Simon has a vast knowledge of the Motability Scheme and various Manufactures.

Steve join ed our sales team in 2009. He has over 10 years motor trade experience within Ford and has gained experience as a Sales Executive, Finance Manager, Sales Manager and has been a Motability Specialist since 2005. Steve also has a good level of technical knowledge of cars in general.

Andrew 'Tom' Royle
Andrew has recently received a promotion to Workshop Controller, meaning that we now have a dedicated manager within the workshop. He has worked at Sidney Jackson while he was at school, on Saturdays and during the school holidays. He joined the team as a Trainee Technician in September 1997 and is now the most qualified technician we have. He has attended over 30 training courses at the Henry Ford College in Dagenham.

David Buxton is the Parts Manager, he has worked at Sidney Jackson for 5 years and has over 45 years of experience within the motor trade.
Alan has worked at Sidney Jackson since July 1982 and has been looking after the accounts and general administration since then.
Tyre Fitter and Executive Valeter
John has worked at Sidney Jackson since November 1983, John looks after a number of departments. His main Duties include running the tyre department, preparing all of our new and used cars for delivery and keeping an eye out for our health and safety compliance.
